A devotee in martyr's clothing
Here are five of my observations about those who are so unsure of themselves that they put on a facade that may fool people some of the time but eventually their true colors will come out.
1. Their dishonesty will be glaring…They say they like things that later you find out they hate…They go places with you and say they are enjoying it…but it is evident they are not.
2. Their desires and feelings change from one minute to the next. They are usually trying to make some other person “fixed” or happy.
3. They are famous for doing things out of duty rather than desire…They feel obligated or they think something is expected of them.
4. They are always quick to set aside their own genuine needs to meet the needs and wants of others (Something to be admired if it is genuine and in balance)…and then they put on their best martyr face. Bitter, resentful feelings will be pressed down for just so long and then they will invite everyone to join them in a big pity-party which is always lots of fun, a chance to see an expert pouter, perhaps.
No thanks, I am busy!
